Dry: A Dry signal is the sound without any effects or pedals. The opposite of this is a Wet signal which is the result after it passes through effect changes. A Dry signal can also be described as the sound that comes straight from the guitar through the amplifier. It gets a little more complicated when you are setting up a Dry/Wet pedalboard with multiple amplifiers.
