Taylor | W-65-CE Walnut 12 String

The Taylor W-65-CE has a solid walnut body (the back is highly figured, the top shows some curly grain in the top half and the sides are mostly straight grain), having a solid mahogany back of neck, ebony fingerboard and headstock overlay, both bound in crème ivoroid with a repeating inlay pattern in 7 fret positions that’s sort of an oblong with arrowheads on each side. The soundhole and the face are each circumscribed by a wide ring of abalone that refracts colors nicely, and the soundhole itself is bound in crème ivoroid. This guitar is equipped with the Expressions system represented by three small knobs on the upper bass side for volume and tone; tuners are individual gold-plated “Taylor” logo sealed backs with ebony buttons; there is a variation on the fingerboard inlays positioned vertically on the headstock, as well as a matte finish ebony truss rod cover and the inlaid pearl “Taylor” logo.
