Poison Noises is an effect pedal company based out of Schenectady, NY. Starting as an audio engineering group, Poison Noises made the transition to effect pedals in March 2020, when a small project became a passion. Jordan, our head designer and builder, designed our very first fuzz circuit with the intention of installing it under the pickguard of his guitar. This circuit later became the Gluttonous Fuzz. With his background in audio engineering, and microphone construction, Jordan’s expertise allowed us to experiment with different sounds, schematics, and designs.

After bringing three more invaluable players to the team, Poison Noises was ready to take on the effect pedal market. With all four members of Poison Noises having worked in a music retail setting, we design our pedals with the player’s best interests in mind. Our goal is to design, improve, and build pedals that are both sonically competitive and priced competitively as well.

Our focus is aimed mainly towards overdrives, fuzzes, and distortions. While we plan to branch out into modulation and time based effects in 2021, dirt and grit are our current passion. Along side our switchers and effect loopers, we have a total of 13 pedals in our line to cap off 2020. All with video demonstrations by yours truly. More to come this year as we continue to create new pedals, as well as reaching to improve our current products.
